Despite the recent market crash, five cryptocurrencies have performed well.

Waves topped the list with a 94% increase compared to the previous week.

ADA, GRT, XLM, and HNT also made the list.

On Thursday, the global cryptocurrency market surpassed the USD 1.31 trillion mark.

Since then, it has fallen slightly and is now just above USD 1.22 trillion. Let's take a look at the five most popular cryptocurrencies over the past week.

Waves has fallen by 11% in the last 24 hours and is currently trading at USD 8.31.

HNT has increased in value by more than 30% in the past week. Helium is currently at USD 9.41 and has increased by almost 6.69% in the last 24 hours.

Following the sharp rise, Helium investors have been pushing up the price of the cryptocurrency in preparation for a $10 round, which is the next target. Meanwhile, the market capitalization has increased by 6% and surpassed the USD 2 billion mark.

Trading volume increased by 83% in the last 24 hours to $36.2 million.

Last week, ADA was in a strong uptrend and significantly outperformed other cryptocurrencies. The value of Altcoin has increased by 24.16% in the last seven days.

Although its value has decreased by 0.22% over the last day and currently stands at USD 0.5583, ADA remains one of the best performing cryptocurrencies over the last week.

The chart price analysis last week showed bullish signs as it rose by 16.39%.

The cryptocurrency is currently trading at USD 0.1613, having declined by 4% in the last twenty-four hours.

In addition to the downward trend line, GRT has breached its 20-day exponential moving average, which provides an additional advantage for long trades. However, the remaining DMAs could prevent a possible rally from materializing.
