Finder recently sampled the opinions of 54 crypto experts on the future valuation of Ethereum.
The average opinion was that ADA would end in 2025 and 2030 at $1,711 and $14,412, respectively.
In the short term, however, they expect ETH to drop to $650 this year.
Some industry experts have made optimistic predictions for ETH. Comparison website Finder recently surveyed the opinions of 54 crypto experts and found some interesting patterns.
In a report updated on their website on July 18, the panelists said that the price of Ethereum will drop to $675 in the short term, but will regain more than 100% of its value.
The report reads in part, "Ethereum is poised to become one of the world's most significant markets:
By the end of 2022, etherium will be worth US $1,711, rising to US $5,739 by 2025. And while holding ETH until 2030 could prove fruitful, our panel thinks there are tough times ahead in the short term, expecting ETH to bottom at US $675 before the end of the year.
The search engine measures expert forecasts for the price of ether on a weekly and quarterly basis. The weekly survey asks a rotating panel of five fintech experts whether they are bullish, bearish or neutral on ETH for the two weeks ahead.
The larger quarterly survey, last conducted in July 2022, asked 54 industry experts for their thoughts on how Etherium will perform over the next decade.
Before the market crashed in January, the panel had predicted ETH would end 2030 at $26,338. That value changed slightly in April to $23,372. Given current realities, experts are stopping at $14,412, according to the July survey
Based on its usage, ETH will end up being worth $2,000 in 2022.
ETH is still positioned as the best bet for success. The merger is not priced into it. The platform it created still supports hundreds of billions of dollars in transactions and value, with thousands of tokens. At this point, Ethereum is still the blue blood of the crypto world.
