Title: Australia stocks higher at close of trade; S&P/ASX 200 up 0.48%

Australian stocks were higher after the nearby on Thursday, as gains in the IT, financials, and A-REITs areas drove shares higher.


At the nearby in Sydney, the S and P/ASX 200 acquired 0.48%.


Nufarm Ltd (ASX: NUF) was the best entertainer of the meeting on the S&P/ASX 200, rising 5.78% or 0.27 focuses to close at 4.94. Meanwhile, NIB Holdings (ASX: NHF) added 5.78% or 0.39 focuses to end at 7.14 and CSR Ltd (ASX:CSR) was up 4.67% or 0.280 focuses to 6.280 in late exchange.


The most noticeably awful entertainers of the meeting were Domino'S Pizza Enterprises Ltd (ASX:DMP), which fell 18.40% or 26.18 focuses to exchange at 116.12 at the nearby. Ocean side Energy Ltd (ASX: BPT) declined 5.15% or 0.070 focuses to end at 1.290 and Inghams Group Ltd (ASX: ING) was down 5.01% or 0.19 focuses to 3.60.


Rising stocks dwarfed declining ones on the Sydney Stock Exchange by 738 to 683 and 365 finished unaltered.


Offers in CSR Ltd (ASX: CSR) rose to 5-year highs, acquiring 4.67% or 0.280 to 6.280.

The S&P/ASX 200 VIX, which estimates inferred unpredictability of S&P/ASX 200 choices, fell 4.64% to 12.677.


Gold fates for December conveyance were up 0.54%, or 9.55, to $1773.45 an official ounce. Somewhere else in wares exchanging, raw petroleum for conveyance in December fell 0.14% or 0.11 to hit $80.75 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.32% or 0.26 to exchange at $82.25 a barrel.


The AUD/USD fell 0.03% to 0.7443, while the AUD/JPY rose 0.22% to 85.04.
