Title: Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 1.08%

Saudi Arabian stocks rose after the close on Wednesday as gains in the retail, cement, and energy and utilities sectors led shares higher.


At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 1.08%.


The best performer on the Tadawul All Share was Saudi Industrial Development Co, which gained 9.20 per cent, or 1.80 points, to close at 21.36. Meanwhile, AlJazira Mawten REIT gained 5.89%, or 1.36 points, to close at 24.44, and Jarir Marketing Co. rose 3.91%, or 7.60 points, to 202.00 in late trade.


Alinma Tokio Marine Co. was the worst performer, falling 3.07% or 1.05 points to close at 33.20 in late trade. Raydan Co. fell 2.58%, or 0.60 points, to 22.68 and Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipe Co. dropped 1.87%, or 1.60 points, to 84.00.


On the Saudi Arabian bourse, advancers outweighed decliners by 139 to 71, and 11 stocks ended unchanged.


Crude oil for delivery in January fell 0.72%, or $0.51, to $70.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.61%, or $0.45, to $73.25 a barrel, while the February gold futures contract fell 0.12%, or $2.10, to settle at $1,770.20 a troy ounce.


Similarly, EUR/SAR rose 0.07% to 4.2258, while USD/SAR gained 0.00% to 3.7514.


US dollar index futures fell 0.05% to 96.485.
